If you're on a fixed tariff, the cheapest energy deal you'll find is probably the one you're already on. If you're on a variable tariff, your energy prices will be capped at £2,500 until January 1st. What details do I need to switch suppliers?
Despite the situation, it's worth knowing how to prepare for an energy switch! It's pretty simple, really. If you're looking to switch energy, try having these bits of information ready:
- Your full address
Because prices vary depending on your location, you should have your full address handy to make sure your energy quotes are accurate to your home. - The name of your current energy supplier and tariff
